weeks gestation and percentage risk of certain problems for baby
at birth – the chart really helps you to stick to your bedrest,
etc. by shooting for that next benchmark goal when the
percentages get better. This comment at the end of the article
is particularly helpful: “Progressive advantages seem to exist
at the specific gestational ages of 25, 28, 32, 34, and 37
weeks. An obstetrician will be more aggressive to stop labor at
less than 32 weeks than after 32 weeks.”
